Unfortunately no direct flight from Europe to Bali. You may make short stop in Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Dubai.
Recently the new Government developed 10 more new Bali across Indonesia managed by a special body. Don't worry many daily flights from mayor cities in the country to Bali vise versa. So 30 days may planned in advance what you are interesting at. From traditional cultures, temples, The Kingdoms (Sultan), traditional fabric/knitting, dancing, surfing, diving and many more to see.
You may take a convenience train across Java island, from the capital Jakarta in the West to Surabaya city, in the East. Across from Java to Sumatra or from Bali to Lombok may take Ferrys or Fast boat (more expensive).
