GARUDA FLY HIGH IN THE SKY OF L.A & NEW YORK

Not so easy how to express the feeling..... clap my hands, feel proud and salute, lift up my cap. Our National carrier, Garuda Indonesia airways, called GARUDA healed after 18 years wounded hit by economic tsunami in Asia. Recently, FAA was allowed to enter US air after rechecked, long evaluation concerning Safety of Indonesia air lines.


Feel humiliated when I fly to Los Angeles 2008 ago have to fly by China airline, stop over, change flight in Seoul. A waiting room packed mostly by Indonesian who traveled to US. Where is my National carrier ?. Where is my flag, red and white ?

In year 1990s we always preferred fly by Garuda with excellence hospitality, deli foods, drinks snacks with Indonesian design custom of beautiful and handsome stewards. Not their fault Garuda not allowed schedule to US sky but by another local air lines who careless about Safety measures.

I am so sure Indonesian would preferred buy Garuda tickets not only due to Nationality but also by a high class services, hospitality, foods, drinks and the fare as well. Recently Eva air, Korean set US $ 800 to US, return ticket. Garuda could compete it since the oil price about US $ 40 per barrel. 8 years  ago fare was $ 1.000 when the oil price about $ 100 per barrel.

Since the permit  issued in August 2016, Garuda take some time for preparation, planning. Next year 2017 Garuda begin to serve passengers  to Uncle Sam land, especially to Los Angeles and New York. Passengers   from US more convenience travel to Bali island and across Indonesia just change flight in Soekarno Hatta, a new, modern airport of Jakarta.

Garuda is one among 7 top Airlines safety in the World along with Singapore airlines, Qatar airlines, Hana, Cathay Pacific, Asiana Airline and Hainan Airlines.
